Brad has his PMBI Level 1 certification and feels that there is no more fun way to stay fit than mountain biking. He loves to help beginner and intermediate riders gain confidence, and have more fun.
Trail Sports has been teaching cross country skiing and mountain biking at the Canmore Nordic Centre since 1991. Our instructors have years of experience assisting all levels of adventurers to improve their skills. All instructors are certified by the Professional Mountain Bike instructors Association.
Charlie has been teaching skiing and coaching racers since 1980. He particularly enjoys those “Ah Ha” moments that learners share when they develop their skills. He refined a lot of his skills while in Fort McMurray for 22 years. As a former Physical Education teacher, he is adept at altering his teaching style to fit the learning style. He enjoys teaching all levels of skier. Charlie continues to ski every day in the winter to work on his skills and develop his fitness to take part in loppets.
Patrick grew up in Canmore and has been skiing and biking for most of his life. Qualified as a CANSI Level 2 instructor he has a depth of knowledge in cross-country skiing. Patrick is passionate about the outdoors and loves sharing the skills that can help you get more enjoyment in the outdoors.
Eric learned to ride a bike around the same time he learned to walk, and has been riding in the Bow Valley his whole life. He loves seeing riders gain confidence on their bikes and have fun while doing it. Mountain biking is his favourite sport because he thinks everybody can always improve, no matter what skill level!
Martine has been involved in the sports, health & fitness industry for over 15 years. She is passionate about endurance sports, and has competed in long distance triathlons and ultra-trail running events for 10 + years. An outdoor enthusiast who enjoys sharing her knowledge on the importance of a healthy active lifestyle, you’ll find her playing in the Canadian Rockies spending time cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, trail running & cycling.
